Vermillion's healthcare facilities are advanced and expanding every day.  The Vermillion area is fortunate to be served by a full staff of local physicians and an array of visiting specialists. Local services include Adult and Family Medicine, General Surgery, Women’s Health, Digital Mammography, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Geriatric Care, and Hospice, with new services continually being added.

Sanford Vermillion Medical Center offers complete facilities for medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric care, as well as 24-hour emergency care. Sanford Vermillion also offers Sanford Care Center, an immediate care nursing home, and Dakota Gardens, a non-profit congregate housing center providing safe, secure apartment living for senior members of the Vermillion Area. Both facilities are surrounded by beautiful grounds, a new Healing Garden, and patios providing a homelike “neighborhood” environment for all to enjoy. Through their long term partnership, Sanford and Dakota Hospital Foundation together have an established strong, community-based healthcare mission focused on providing quality healthcare in the community.
 
Vermillion Medical Clinic, and Olson Medical Clinic offer onsite comprehensive diagnostic services and outpatient care making it possible for residents to be conveniently serviced locally for all of their healthcare needs.
